also i had another question for a fecal test is it normal to cost 50$ and 80$ for a checkup ?

im jut woundering when i get them there new cages and there misting syatem i am going to get them checked up fro evrythign but it seems a little bit pricy

increasing humidity or misting sessions always a good idea for stubborn shed cycle.
I would avoid shoving things inside your chameleon's mouth unless if necessary. It is too stressful for your cham.

this is just a theory base on speculation, but during the first meeting, your cham might be afraid of the worm (which is normal). Then you (kinda) force feed him with the worm. Ever since, he equates the sight of the worm with that experience. So, he flares up every time he sees them.

What you can do is try to mix the crickets with the worm (if you cup feed).
In hope that he will accidentally shoot the worm instead of the crix and learn that it actually good overtime.

Dr Greek charge 60 bucks for fecal float test.
or You can go to one of Dave's meeting for free test.

i give him showers and i mist him about 3 times a day he will be hand misted for about another couple months and then he will get a new cage and a new misting system for him and my vailed

he is not cup fed and i tried to cup feed with worms and the crickets just eat the worms alive is there any other sugg ?

I doubt whether that was your cham's first shed. Possibly the first shed that YOU witnessed, but I'm sure he would have shed before that.

As babies, you can expect a shed every 3-4 weeks, and shedding usually only lasts a day. Shedding is a result of growth, and they grow a lot when they are young. So chameleons shed frequently when they are babies, and gradually shed less and less over time. As they get older, the shedding process sometimes takes a bit longer, sometimes only partially shedding in stages.
But since reptiles never actually stop growing (their rate of growth just slows as they age), they will continue to shed all their lives.

what should i do when i try to put a worm with the crickets so that he can accidentally strike it befor that can even happen the crickets eat the worm and the worm dies

put some chopped fruits (very tiny) for the crickets to munch on; so they will ignore the worms.
make sure the chopped fruits are ot too big for your cham to eat in case he decide to try it too.

I suppose that seems a bit pricey to me as well. I took Karma (veiled cham) to a wonderful vet the day after I got him just to make sure he was healthy. The vet was so excited because it was the healthiest cham he has EVER seen. He didn't charge us at all...
