Just a few questions from a newbie!

Okay so I got my chameleon about a week ago after extensive research and setting up my cage, lights, etc. I just have a few questions. First off, my crickets will never climb to the top of the cage where the chameleon likes to spend most of his time. It's a all screen and cage and they have no problem walking on it they just won't go up there. Will my chameleon "Zoey" be able to reach them? And I also know that chameleons shed, do I need to provide a rock to aid in their shedding? 1 last question, should my chameleon enclosure be high up off the ground or no? Because I have it pretty high right now but I think he'd be more comfortable next to a window on a night stand instead of a dresser. And it'll also be easier for me to access his dripper

To keep better track of your feeders confine them in a plastic container somewhere in the branches where your cham can watch and shoot at them.

Chams shed more easily if you mist them more...don't spray the cham directly as many hate that. Spray the foliage around him to raise the humidity level in the cage, or put your cham on a potted plant in your shower, turn the water on luke warm and aim the spray head so the water bounces off the wall instead of right on the cham.

Thank you for the reply! Should my chameleon enclosure be high up or does it not matter? And I have worms in a little bowl constantly but how could I stop the crickets from jumping around?

Your cham would prefer higher up.

Use a larger deeper box and put a little fresh gutload in with the feeders, and place a twig so your cham can climb over the rim of the box to hunt and shoot at will. Moving slowly will help keep the crix from deciding they have to jump.
