I am almost sure it is a veiled. It has a casque. Panthers don't have the big casque like a veiled. It looks a bit dehydrated to me, too.

When people come to the forum asking for help IDing a chameleon, the identification of that chameleon is not a game. If you are not confident in your identification, DO NOT reply! If you are confident in your ID, justify your identification so that readers are clear on how you IDed it, etc.

The animal in the original post is a juvenile male Chamaeleo calyptratus (Veiled/Yemen Chameleon). You can tell based on the shape of the elevated casque and the tarsal spur.

Thanks everyone, I have a veiled so I was 99% sure. Panthers are hard to get here so i just wanted to make sure I wasn't passing up on anything, thanks gain for the help
