Jose got worms :(.

The lab results from Jose's poo came today and he tested positive for worms. Can't remember what they are called but they are infectious to humans so I gotta take action very fast. I'm taking him back to the vet tomorrow to get his medicine, but how serious is this? They told me it will take a week or so to get rid of them but that seems awful fast. Can anyone help me?

wow! please keep us posted. at least the ones that are with you and never encountered this :( goodluck

Most worms are fairly easy to take care of and are common problems for all reptiles.. Usually the dose is something like Pancur for 3 to 5 days then repeat in a week to catch any worms that may have been missed by the first dose.

Keep the cage clean.. clean up any poops.. don't allow crickets to walk over poop or anything like that. Wash you hands after handling you cham and after cleaning the cage.. common sense stuff.

He should be just fine.
