Jacksons skin issue

Hello, I am new to the site and wonder if anyone has seen this skin issue before.
They are wild caught from Underground reptiles : (

Dailey temp 85
night time temp 70
Humidity 65-80%
Cage 5ft tall 2ftx2ft
mist king every 3 hours for 60 seconds starting 9am 8pm

They were very lathargic wrapped in a paper bag inside a small box when first arrived and had no fat on their body what so ever. They have since added weight and seemed to have gotten better but now these spots are starting to show. I cant find anything like this on the internet. she has been dosed 10 times with Reptaid Reptile Medicine Anti Parasite Bacteria Viral .

I am unsure as to what has inflicted the chameleon, but I have seen similar issues posted before. I could guess fungal, but that would be a guess.

They chameleon should be taken to a vet.

I would also recommend filling out our "How to Ask for Help" form, which will give everyone a good idea of your husbandry, and how the animals have been kept so far.

Wild caught chameleons usually have parasite issues.
A fecal exam will confirm/deny this, and a vet can prescribe appropriate treatment. This is pretty much mandatory with WC chameleons.

If you have them in the same enclosure, you will need to move them.

Did this develope in your care? Or did they arrive with this issue? Is the other chameleon female as well? Is the other chameleon inflicted with the same issue?

Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?

History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
Location - Where are you geographically located?

Thanks for asking, I opened up the cage to allow more airflow and have set up a fan to move air. I will probably loose some humidty because of it, but i need to try and do something to see if she gets getter. She is so damn stubborn and wont eat anything but crickets. I have superworms and Dubias but she just backs away untill she shes a cricket? I was trying to see if we have a reptile vet around to ask some questions and price but had no luck.I hope some more people chime in and help solve what she might have.

it almost looks like a blister, or abscess.

could be caused by a parasite, just because it looks subcutaneous id say its not fungal, becuase from what ive seen thats usually on the surface.

im not familiar with the treatment youre using.

id take her to a vet. it kind of looks like it should be drained. id say you could do it yourself if you have a syringe tip and some antibiotics.... but unless youre a vet i probably should not be recommending that.

especially if thats not the appropriate treatment since we dont know exactly what it is.

No it is not wet or seeping it is like a hard clear calice, i was able to remove one from her other side very gently and it was dry underneath and no raw skin showing. Its almost like a clear scab but she never had a sore to begin with.

well then if one came off the other side and the skin underneath looks healthy. hopefully it just clears up after the next shed.

she looks good otherwise.

oh and mist for longer periods. and 85 is a bit high if thats the overall ambient temp. if its just basking thats fine.

i added the humidifier from jdogs vid to my set up because my male is a bad drinker, and was having a little shed problem.

i think it was worth it, and it looks pretty sweet.

i also drip em every other day. water bottle with pinholes, ya know?.

Watering - every 3 hous for 60 seconds yes ai see her drink, pelletsblack/white - Has never been tested for parasites?
History - bought from underground reptiles,wild caught


Cage Info:

Cage Type - 5ft tall 2feetx2feet all screened but top half has plastic to hold in humidity
lighting-5.0 and 2.0 reptile uv bulbs,one 30 watt ceramic heater, 1 75w basking lamp
Temperature - 70 bottom 90 top, with nightime being around 68-70
Humidity - humidity level 60-75%? measured by humidity gauge, i use a reptile fogger to raise humidity and it turns on 3 times a day to try and keep humidity up.
Plants - no live plants
Placement -no traffic to very little traffic area. They see me once or twice a day at feeding and thats usually it?

It's funny you say she won't eat anything but crickets; we have a wild caught as well and he is the same way.

It appears that it could be layers upon layers of stuck shed.
