Jackson's first shed

My jacksons is finally shedding after having him for 3 weeks! Such a relief!

Mine too! Except, ive had him for about 3 months now. Considering you were worried after a few weeks...does this mean i should be concerned? He started last night with a white patch about the size of a quarter or maybe a nickel. I woke up this morning to find him with another white patch the size of a dime or penny on his other side. BTW, mine is an 11.5 month old male mt. Kenyan jacksons

To be quite honest I'm no expert but I know shedding is good! That's why I was all happy haha!

Awesome! I can't remember the exact sheddings on my male, but when he was getting close to a year old I think he shed every 4-6 weeks. Now that he's around 18 months old, it's more like every other month.

Haha! Yeah whatever! I guess since hes happy and healthy and is actually shedding (no matter how often) im fine with it!! It has been a really interesting process and is really cool. Have fun with yours!
