my jacksons chameleon doesnt like being misted...he runs away when the cage is getting wet and he hasnt drank at all today...is it bad?

no its common. put a drip system in and he will drink. my guy does this too. try warm (NOT HOT) water.

Its normal. Mine is the same. Just use a dripper. I almost never see mine drink.

also he could have a fear of you. zilla will never drink if Im to close or if i open the door.

my jackson did the same, so no worries 
i mist with warm water during winter and room temp water during summer..he used to freak and hide or puff up and actually tried to bite it, but after awhile i learned you cant spray him right away, spray the cage around him and slowly let some get on him each time. ive had mine since january, and now, as long as i spray around him first, he will let me mist him without him running. and i rarely see mine drink, but he has white urate, so he's a sneaky drinker. yours might be for awhile, just keep checking the urate. and yes, a dripper is a good idea.

Mine did the same too when I start spraying him from outside the cage, but I keep misting/spraying him and after like a minute or so, he accepts it and stand still. Then I open the cage and spray directly on him, especially his head, and he starts open his mouth and drink from it, then I aim to his mouth instead of his head so that he can drink easily. And he drinks quite a lot.

I agree with Amanda. I too have found that the best way of going about it is using warm water, and misting the cage first. I then slowly start moving closer to my Jacksons and squirt a few drops of water onto his tail. Initially he's hesitant and tried to contour himself away, but a couple squirts later later he'll comes closer and lets me mist him properly.
I mist close to his lips being careful not to drench his nostrils. I'll see him lap up water around his lips. I have tried using an eye dropper lately to 'target feed' but i don't think he's figured out that the dropper has water in it.
p.s. I use a dripper too, which drips water onto the leaves but I can't say i have ever seen him lap water up from those leaves.
