Jackson's Chameleon problems

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I've been pretty busy lately. And some days Jarvis is acting well and climbing all around the cage. And really active. But this past week he's just been really lethargic. He was having eye problems 2 weeks ago, the vet gave us ointment though and that seems to have fixed it. But like I said he's been really lethargic lately. Sleeping all day near or on the bottom of the cage. He hasn't been drinking or eating much either. Since he's not really active he doesn't hunt, and even when a cricket goes near him he seems uninterested. I've been giving him the eye ointment still and after I have him the ointment I place him about 3/4 of the way up the cage on some sturdy branches and umbrella tree I got for him and allow the water to drip near him. And series I see him drink. But in the 2 weeks he's only ate 6 crickets and 2 small super worms that I've hand fed him. I try to leave him alone as much as I can. But I don't want him starving or dehydrating. I'm not sure what's up with the little guy now. I'm going to try to get some water in him tonight and I'm gonna gutload some crickets overnight and force feed him in the morning. And then give him a few days to destress without me touching him and see if he strengthens up. I'm afraid there's something wrong with his tongue or his kidneys. I'll try to stay updated over the next few days

I just saw your post and something caught my eye. You say you are using a 100 watt basking bulb, that seems high. I use 40 watt bulbs on my jaxs and the basking spot temp still reaches the low 80's sometimes and I have the same size cages. Just a thought that maybe your gage is off and he's getting to hot.
