Current Problem - Ive seen him a couple of times stretching one of his arms backwards further than his body.

hmmm....is there any hope of getting a picture?

I'll be honest, if you are just occasionally catching him with a limb stretched weird, it's probably not a big deal...they can do things that would put us in the hospital. If he's doing something repeatedly with one leg...well, maybe it's something to be concerned about.

I'm curious about the circumstances. Are you watching him do nothing and then he suddenly does the stretch or are you walking in and finding him in a weird position?

i walk in and watch him stretching his arm backwards. then he stops. at this point hes holding onto the branch with his hind legs and on arm. i think its the left arm. ill try to get a pic next time.

I sort of wonder if you're just catching him "in the act"...maybe he's just about to do an amazing swing up to a higher branch or something...in my experience freezing in seemingly horrible positions when they realize I'm there is pretty normal.
