We went to a reptile expo a week ago. We got a female baby Jackson chameleon. She was very active in her small plastic take out container. We got her a cage and a branch to climb and a fake leafy plant in the corner. We made a drip and use bottle water. She was eating baby crickets 3-6 a day but has stopped. We are not sure if she is drinking on her own we havnt exactly seen her go for any drops of water. The bulbs we got for light/heat 150W which she was always at climbed on the side of the cage to keep warm. The bulb kept breaking so we went down to 75W. Noticed the other morning that she was very thin and had little to no grip. Noticed her poop was a bit orange so we opened her mouth and dripped in water (i read from this form in some threads of possibilities so took advice) she has gained some strength but im not sure how shes goin to make it if she doesnt drink on her own as we work.... she hasnt touched food either. Crickets right in front of her and she wont eat.

Suggestions

She seemed to light the blacklight when i turned it on., she climbed to it and hung out in front of it for awhile.

We have humidity at 85
Temp between 75-85

Im not an expert with Jacksons care but you need to read this caresheet front to back. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/jacksons/

No lights are night. They need total darkness to rest properly. You need to add a UVB bulb and get two more supplements. You need a multivitamin and a plain calcium with NO D3. Follow the supplement schedule listed in the caresheet.

Also, fill out the form posted above and post it here.

Please fill out the form that was posted for you and post pics of your enclosure lights down. There are red flags in what you have said... The calcium powder you are using has D3 in it and they require a reduced schedule for their supplements. Also their lighting is slightly different because they can not do the high temps. I have tagged in one of our Jackson's experts but she will need the form filled out and pics to be able to offer you advice.

The supplement you have should only be used once a month and very lightly she will need the other supplements mentioned above, plain phosphorus free calcium twice weekly lightly and a good multivitamin once month also lightly. If you have given several doses already stop and get her the multi vitamin to give next when she starts eating again. It should have vitamin A as retinol as an ingredient.
To combat the dehydration you can start using a ultrasonic cool mist humidifier directly into her cage over nights. Her cage temperature should drop into the 60˚F range at night. This will help her get proper sleep.
Her cage will need to have a lot of live plants for her to hide in and feel safe. Once she feels like she has places to hide she won't hide much but the security of good cover will relax her. So don't worry that you won't ever see her.
