lol I've caught the bug.

I kept my veiled from petsmart. With every passing day i've grown more and more attached to he/she... for now i've named he/she "Skiddie" since it's semi skiddish lol... doing fine... wite pees eating well. still cup eating.

Got rep-cal etc etc of course..

Have moved over to cricket crack and water crystals and got a 5 gallon repitat for when i start ordering my own crickets online.

I have a second reptibreeze 16x16x20 small on the way with lights already etc and am eyeing a ambilobe or nosey be. (will upgrade cages to bigger size of course in bout 5 months from now)

Would love a true blue nosey be.. but kinda looking at chameleon company.

Anyone think i left out anything? Thanks Guys!

Sounds like you are on the right track. I'm glad to see you decided to keep your veiled chameleon from petsmart. He will do much better in your care than back there and possibly into the hands of an inexperienced chameleon keeper.

only thing missing is knowing weather or not you have a he, or a she.. look at the heels of the back feet..if there are "spurs" or "bumps" you have a male!

sadly i caught skiddie hanging upside down on cage again this morning when i walked in and didn't see any spurs at all from the back. didn't have a chance to get a better picture of back legs and didn't wanna hunker down on lil guy or get .

so i'm not too worried but i do think i have a female but still not 100% yet and didn't wanna focus on that this week.

Soon as I can catch an ample time to get the back legs and focused up i'll grab the shot but didn't want to make skiddie even more skiddish right now with have the rebel t2i grabbing pictures or anything new to his routine.
