I've rearranged again:rolleyes:.
Also got a Home Depot gift card from my parents for more/new plants.
I had fun yesterday!

The second enclosure from the left is for Shaitan ... Cain as soon as we figure that out, she can move in!

Looking good Brad!!!! I am one to rearange things often myself:rolleyes: Actually when I get back from my moms I will be doing the rest of my rearranging/cleaning. It looks like a tornado went through there at the moment:eek: Just let me know when you are ready for her. She is waiting patiently:)

Juli, Shaitan means basiclly means she devil in Islamic. Brad you are morethan welcome to change her name but it does fit very well hahaha.

not to be nitpicky.. but, shaitan in arabic is not particularly a "she" devil.
it's basically where we got the word "Satan."
and it is exactly refering to the same entity. :p
lol I have too much time on my hand.

Anyway, COOL looking enclosures. The chams will be so happy with their new jungle!

does dodolah now how to party or what ? dodolah took much time means idle hands and you know what that is............yes its the devils playground

Brad out of curiosity, How high off the floor do your viv sit....

Thanks

The bottom of the 2x2x4 is about 27" above the floor (they are all on different platforms, shelves and cubes*) The bottom of the 18x18x36 is about 49" above the floor, the 16x17x30 is 55" and the 18x12x40 is at 45" off the floor.

*The three enclosures on the shelf are all different heights so they are on different sized platforms to make them all the same height at the top since I use one 48" light fixture for all three.
The shelf they are on is 40" above the floor.
Kitty's enclosure used to be the only one, so it doesn't match height-wise, and I have been too lazy to build a new cube for it.

The top of Kitty's cage is at 6 feet and the rest are at 7 feet.

.

Dumb question,

Do you feel that the height is important?

My chams sit on my 2nd floor balconey, but about 20" off the floor.

There isn't any foot traffic in the area except for when I go out to check and feed them.

thanks

The higher up they are, the safer they feel ... regardless of whether people are there or not.
So ... yes, I think it is very important for them to be able to climb to a spot above your eye level.

Something else that makes them feel safe ......

Since I have added the new plants (btw ... 10 new plants between 4 enclosures ... in addition to the plants I already had in place.)
The attitude and activity of the chameleons has changed dramatically.
They seem so happy!
A heavily planted habitat (I believe) is a huge investment in the health and well being of these animals.
