Arcadia wins Aqua 2011 New Products Awarard for Vivarium Light
"We are pleased to announce that Arcadia has won the New Products Award for the Reptile/Terraria Product or Service category at the Aqua 2011 water gardening and aquatics show. The winning product is our new Vivarium canopy lighting unit, which makes use of our latest high performance compact and T5 reptile lights in a new luminaire designed to sit on top of the mesh cover of most popular glass vivariums.

The new light unit is purpose designed for vivarium use and incorporates a durable metal construction, waterproof lamp holders and high performance hammered reflectors. As a full spectrum lamp, the Arcadia D3
Reptile lamp simulates sunlight. This provides
high colour rendering for enhanced viewing of
your reptiles and their environment. The colour
temperature of 6,500K replicates typical
daylight conditions. The D3 lamp also helps
plants grow in the vivarium or terrarium,
where these are present.
Through extensive research
Arcadia has developed the ideal
full spectrum lamp that produces
UVB at the optimum level of 6%,
and also UVA at 30% level. The
Arcadia D3 Reptile lamp is
