Haha, I started with tadpoles from the pond near our house at about 4 years old. I've had frogs and reptiles ever since.

I raise my own Isopods, but how I started mine was I caught preg/ females, let them have their babies , ( you can tell the preg ones very easy- they have a cream "sack" on the belly- ) and then let the adults go - they grow very fast- and I only started these in the late spring- I now have hundreds of Isopods - I kept the female in a deli cup until she gave birth , and they have a lot of babies !! here is a preg one w/ the sack - when it starts to turn white , the babies will come very soon my Jax LOVE them

My Monty (Jackson) absolutely LOVES woodlice! They are by far his favourite thing! He shows the best feeding response to them too by standing up on his back legs to get a better shooting angle!
