This is the right bulb type HOT5 or high output T-5 , the Cham kit often pushed in pet stores sells an insufficient compact bulb. The t-5 has stronger out put than the t-8 which is also a linear bulb. depending on your lighting needs you can get different strength uvb 5.0 or 10.0 for zoomed or the 6% and 12% for Arcadia. Depending on your breed and how heavily planted your enclosure is you can narrow down what bulb to use. If cost isn't an issue you can get a solarmeter and measure the exact outputs. They often stop giving off uvb after 6 months or so. Also depending on your needs you can get double or quad bulb fixtures. You use one uvb and other 6500k aka daylight bulbs to illuminate the enclosure. I regret not getting a quad fixture for my 2*2*4 screen enclosure.
