Is this weird?

I know we're not supposed to handle our chams much but my two baby rudis' chameleons seem to prefer being on my hand or climbing my shirt than when they're in their cage. As soon as I put my hand in front of them they climb on and their colors go lighter. They have a large cage for their size and they've got the proper heat gradient and humidity so I know it's not that. So basically what I want to know is if they seem to enjoy coming out of their cage and climbing on me is it ok to be handling them often? Could it be that when I take them out they know we're going outside to sit in the sun?

yes... I have a Jackson that would ride on my shoulder all day if I would let him. He even touches horn to noise with me (sort of a cham kiss), it is all depending on the Cham.
Just don't let them get too cold, and dehydrated by keeping them out all the time.

I think the kiss thing is adorable

:D your welcome....I do have one that is on the opposite side of the spectrum too, my male veiled will bite me every chance he gets. Like I said, it depends on the Cham.
