is it normal to lose a few eggs 2 to 4 days after they are laid? My veiled laid 31 eggs i am now down to 28 the rest look very good they are bright wight and look healthy but a few have turned brow and caved in. am i doing something wrong?

Can you post a picture of them?

If there are any infertile eggs laid with the clutch, then they will (of course) mold and go bad. You can, with a bit of experience, tell when the eggs are laid if they are fertile or not by the size and the color and general look of them.
