Is this normal??

I have had my cham for a little under a week and 2 out of the 5 days he has slept like this below, Is this ok?

I tried to pull him off the first time I seen this and I seem to have woke him up and he got real defensive, so this time I left him alone.

chams that are in a new home , may take a couple weeks tops more likely a few days before they settle in their new homes....mine did the same thing for a few nites and then suddenly slept on a branch...

also as long as this was at night..right?

cuz its bad if they sleep during the day... if its just the nite time then all things are good..just give him some space for a few days

If its not normal what do you think it means, could it be temp, could he be stressed, other nights he slept like a typical cham curled up on a brach with its tail curled. Someone please help!!

I'm so glad you posted this. I just saw my little guy sleeping exactly like this just a few minutes ago and it was weird because every other night he has slept in his tree. He looks so cute though... Oh and about the waking him up, I have read it's really bad to do that.

He'll be fine. I'm sure LOTS of other Chams do the same thing, just as Ace said, his Cham did it and he's fine.

Oh thanks bro that is very comforting, yes its at night only when the lights are off!!! PHEW!!! Man I have never stressed out so much for an animal like I have for this guy...lol.

my cham actually ccasionally does it sometimes.. if the lights are off they mite not get to the spot they want to go, so they sleep at where they are at the moment......but its cool dude...just a funny pic and another reason why these animals are so cool

Its crazy they got a nice comfy cage with all these wonderful branches and he decides to sleep in the freaken corner hanging on a screen..what the ......

i saw the hemipene, that shit is scary...havent seen a sperm plug yet...but the eye thing im used too when i spray water sometimes on him...
