i just realized that my cham’s skin is sort of half and half. its very easy to see in the pics. is this okay or should i be concerned?

I’d say leave it. I’m not familiar with pied but routinely we leave shed alone as long as it’s not constricting.

What was the coloration there prior? If it was half dark then pale then it is normal for your cham. With translucent Veiled chams their color patterns are individual to them. They are not all patterned the same.

I'm trying to look at your past photos. From this one, it appears that her pie (translucent) mutation makes her face naturally lighter. Are you able to post some others of before her shed to make sure?
