Is this light too strong?

Right panthers are nothing to grouch veileds.
That's the exact light I have on Johhny. Him and Zaphod would have to go toe to toe.

Your Cham hasn't fought mine. He's buff and gets all the ladies. It's from being under that quad light with the 12% bulb. He's the man.

You have a veiled, they like a little more UV than some species.

You have a good amount of distance under the bulb, at least 10".

You should be ok with a 10.0 linear bulb.

Chameleon wars? Whatever. You've never seen a full grown bull Parson go on display after seeing a dinky little panther fire up on him. I never knew a big chameleon could be even bigger. That panther hauled ass , and in typical Parson fashion, the Parson didn't bother to move afterwards.
