is this jackson a xanth or a jacksonii jacksonii

I'm pretty sure its a j. Jacksonii but it was listed for sale as a Xanth. Can someone confirm please.

It is a male Trioceros jacksonii jacksonii. The yellow stripe down the flanks are fairly typical of this subspecies. You'll also find (although hard to tell in the photo) that the cones on the dorsal crest likely have a single point as opposed to the multi-point cones on the dorsal crest of T. j. xantholophus. Further, notice how the base of the rostral horn appears to be laterally compressed and tall, while it is more rounded in T. j. xantholophus and T. j. merumontanus.

he looks kinda like mine and mine is a C.j.merumontana so i don't know but good luck

It was the yellow strip that made me think it was a jacksonii jacksonii.
In your opinion, what age would you guess he was, he looks healthy and a sub adult to me but I'm no expert.
