Is this his stress pattern?

I was outside today and he was hanging in the sun for a while, and then it got really windy. When i went to bring him in I noticed this crazy pattern of black and bright green. Is this from him enjoying the sunshine or from him being stressed from the wind?

sometimes they darken to soak up more sunlight. im sure he's fine.

Yes, those are stress colors of a Jackson.

It got really windy, I figured it was his stress.. but it was also the side he had up to the sun, and the other side was still green

Could be a combo of both. Mine always has that pattern when he's under stress.

My Jackson gets like that too. I have to keep my terrarium very moist inorder for him to lighten up a bit during the day. I'm sure you already know this but I would invest in the Reptifogger, or a mister too keep it a little cooler, or any type of humidifier of some sort. From what I've read, Jacksons need a cooler atmosphere than veiled and panthers. I live in California, so keeping it cool can be hard sometimes. I have two drippers constantly dripping in areas where he usually hang around and a humidifier, and that keeps him a little greener throughout the day.

Also, he would turn that color when the temperatures would be too hot. When I first got him I had the lamp directly on the cage and once I raised it a little higher to cool down his basking spot I definitely started to see a positive change.
