Leo basks basically on his side, he leans all the way to one side while he is basking so he is flat out. Is this normal or just a leo thing I guess it makes sense, he would have more surface area for heat absorption.
Perfectly normal if you have a basking light aimed straight down. My female veiled did this all the time till I put it at an angle under UVB source. Now since the light comes from an angle she pretty much stays straight up.
They also lean over to one side with movement as well. Like, if I have my girl near the window on my arm, she will cling to my arm but try to get out of the cars view by going on her side when it passes by.
