I barely noticed this in his nose. It's only on his left nostril.

That's probably just a calcium deposit. So it's fine. Or it could just be excess shedding from the last time he shed. From what I can see, it isn't anything to worry about.

Take a damp q tip and wipe it and it will go away

They expel excess salts through their nose. It is nothing to worry about and can be cleaned with a q-tip as previusly described.

Is this color normal?

Not likely calcium, but minerals. Not unusual at all. Just be sure not to alter your dusting or gutload to make this go away. It will not .
