Is this a typical look for parsons?

I was reading this Chameleons! Online E-Zine article

These guys look uber hydrated and healthy, they almost look squishy, is this a typical look for parsons? My veiled has never looked this hydrated and I haven't seen many chams that look like this.

I think you can't compare veiled with parsons- they have different skin and that's why good hydratation looks different at these two species..

you can see if a parson needs more water,the skin used to wrinkle on flanks.they looks very normal healty animals

That's what I thought, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't wrong.

Parsoni is a heavily boned and fleshed animal compared to a veiled in addition to their different hydration, skin, etc. Their feet and legs are almost fat looking with all the muscle. Incredible grip!

Seriously, the chameleon community has got to figure out how to captive breed Parson's predictably! Just stunning creatures. I know next to nothing about breeding, and they do seem more complicated to keep, but I dream of a day when they are as available as Panthers.

In the early 90's you could get them for 50 bucks a pop!!
