Is there such a thing as too much foliage?

Like others as post on Facebook site. They say that you can never have too much foliage. The more the marrier. Is this true. I wouldnt think chams would get enough uvb light and live plants would die from being too crowded.

I mean yes, if your chameleon is so crowded by plants it can't move, then that's too much. But as a general rule of them, the more the better. To combat the foliage blocking UVB, this is a situation where you would pick a 10.0 model instead of 5.0

There is such a thing but it is difficult to achieve. Live plants will start to limit themselves when they can't get enough light.
If you see you cham squeezing thru the foliage it's time to pinch back some plants.

If the foliage doesn't allow them to see their prey, then it's probably too much. I would say that half the enclosure should be pretty dense so they can feel secure, but maybe the other half less so, for basking and stalking prey.
