Hello there.. Now I don't know what to think... I Thought that a fired up chameleon would show more colours that he it normally does.. Not in my case! Fender shows lots of nice blue, and orange and green when he's relaxed.. Is that really a fired up chameleon? What's the story with all that green?
Very confused.. I wasn't expecting that.. He's just 7/8 months.

I have noticed that my a
Ambliobe will fire up in what I call a "dark" and "light" phase.

Sometimes when he fires up its a dark green/red. Then sometimes he is a firey orange/red/yellow.

I'm not too sure what causes this.. Maybe temp or mood.

he looks in the first pic with his eyes half open and tail curled that he was either sleeping or getting ready to sleep when you took the pic and I am sure you know by now that their sleeping colors are some of the best. I would not consider that first pic a "resting" pic but a sleeping pic. Take a pic of him when he is just hanging out but wide awake.

Yeah it was nearly bed time Carol.. During the day he's mostly green because he's under the basking light, but he'll be pretty much the same just more green ish.. No point of guessing what colours he will be when he fire up as he's still too young to shows his full potential. Thanks:)
Fully awake

He has circle bars! Pretty cool. He looks great. I agree with JonRich. They can "fire up" in all different colors, hes still young to. ;)

Ah ah! I actually never paid too much attention to his circle bars! Cool al-right!:p
I just saw somebody else posting a pic of an ambilobe around the same age of mine and looks pretty similar when "fire up".. Lots of green..

I thought in many occasions I've picked the wrong name.. But now!! That's a sign!! ..And I'm a girl, but it's all right..;)

lmaoooo. The "Roby" threw me off, sorry. Plus "mann" is kinda a NYC thing. lol (used for both sexes, just to add expression)

Seems to be a lottttttt of female Cham owners.:)
