Is pomegranate ok for roaches?

My roaches seem to really eat them up. They are like little natural water crystals. The roaches eat all the pulp and leave the seed. Is pomegranate a good gutload? It's obvious the roaches like it.

Pomegranates are $3-$4 each here. Thats a pricey gut load

Someone brought a box of them to work and I grabbed 3 on Saturday when they were brought in and another 2 on Wednesday. I didn't want to be a pomegranate whore. They are delicious, but I don't mind sharing if it's good for the roaches and, in turn, the chameleons.

It's a shame most of my neighbors have fruit trees that they just let rot eventually, I'd feel bad if I went to snatch some fruits though.

I've seen atleast 5 pom. trees.

Thanks for that. Lots of stuff, but mostly water, which is the main purpose in my case. They don't seem to eat the seed. I was wondering if I should collect the seeds and grind them up and give them that, as well. Seems like a waste when I think most of the nutrients would be found within the seed.
