hi everyone just a quick question on how does my cham look?
in these pics the only prob is the lighting is not great, he is a real character i have never forced him to come out of his tank or taken him out for any reason he lets me know when he wants to and is very friendly but only with me as you can tell by the pictures, he does not like my children or any male person who may be in the house, i dont know why he doesnt like males??

he does have a slight burn on his back near his horn but he was like that when i bought him :-(

he eats very well and as far as i know he should be between 9-12 months now, if it looks as if i am doing something wrong by the way he looks then please say, he eats, drinks and has normal movements all in all he is a very happy chap.

thanks for looking :)

Definatly a pretty guy! :) if u want us to really see how hes doing post a pic of his setup and walk us through a day in the life as far as ur routine with him :) how long have u had him?

thanks, ive had him for about 3 months ish now. when i got him i had a temp set up for him till i could get the tank he was in, in the shop because he look soo happy in it. i will put a pic on its a cabinet tank for now as he gets bigger im getting a much bigger encloser that will do him till fully grown then. does the tank look ok?? i will be honest and i dont know what bulbs they are the lights do look closer to him then what they are on the picture but i can assure you they are a safe distance so he doesnt hurt hiself.

i have had a female before but my ex partner kept her.

i turn his lights on in the morning and give it all a good misting (which he doesnt like at all) when i get in from work i clean up the mess and he sometimes likes to come out for a while either sits on me for abit or he has some logs up in the window, he likes to sit in the sun lol. later on i do give another good misting and after turn his lights off to let the temperature drop. i have always kept my eye on it and it doesnt drop that much.

obviously feed and dust in the mean time he only seems to like locus he isnt very keen on crickets, he does have wax worms aswell from time to time.

Id recommend a little more foliage and vines running around in there.. and if at all possible more ventalation. But its not to bad of a setup at all! Do u plan on a screen enclouser for his big boy enclouser? How is ur supplementing schedual? and temp/humidity levels?

He's looking good!!
I'm also in England and paid over £100 for a screen enclosure but we don't have great weather over here and it didn't hold enough heat. So now I'm going to use it for a garden enclosure, if we ever get a summer that is.

it does have 8 air vents at the back would you still say more?? it is far away from the walls to prevent them getting blocked. i dust with calcium and multi vit 1-2 times a week if thats enough?? the temp in the day is around 80-90 and drops to 60-70 when the lights are off at night.my house is always warm so it would never drop any lower.

i will get some more stuff in there though thanks, im not too sure which kind of enclosure would be the best for him so i was going to ask.

i would rather ask to see if im going wrong anywhere then something happening to him, i only want whats best for him :)

i know its horrible weather, he did like to be out in the sun that we had the other week. thats what im worried about about losing too much heat for him really

I recommend the screen cages my rep room is 65 and I have no problems keeping.him warm under a plain ol 100w house. bulb. U have a uvb light.correct?
Ventalation is perfect I didn't see the vents:rolleyes:

Calcium with NO d3 every day
Calcium with d3 2 times a MONTH
multivit 2 times a month

At night 60-70 is perfect they need it cool to sleep. They can go down to 55 realtivly comfortably.. mine stays around 62 at night.

yea got the tube at the top. thanks ill sort the dusting out now i know :)

as soon as the lights go out it doesnt take him long before hes sleep haha
