Is it too bright?

I have two reptisun linear flourescent tubes, 2 foot each. I use 60 watt house bulb for basking spot. My sheffleria is not growing so I just added two "100 watt equivalent" , they are 24 watt, spiral CFL house bulbs to see if the plant will grow better. Is the bright "regular" non uv lighting ever too bright and will it be harmful to panther chameleon? The screen enclosure is 4 foot high and 2x2 foot square with plenty of vines and a large sheffleria in a pot.

I am unable to answer your question, but I can say that in the wild these animals are in VERY bright conditions all the time. I would think it difficult to make it too bright using a few bulbs. I have 3 - T5HO 6500K bulbs, 1 - T5HO Reptisun 10.0 bulb, and a 75 watt MVB over my Veiled and have seen no signs of any issues.

I am sure someone with more experience will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.
