Is it possible that ventilation could be the reason my cham isnt eating?

I have the national geographic cage that is mostly glass with a side panel screen for ventilation. I had that covered up to help maintain temperature in the cage. This cage is only until he gets bigger, as it is 16x16x24. He has had a lot of issues with not eating, though I have identified and eliminated all of the problems, short of taking him to the vet, and he is still eating less than he should be. Is it possible that the lack of the extra ventilation from the side panel is causing him to not eat?

What are your temps without covering it up? it is summer time and it cannot be that cold, so I am not sure what you are trying to achieve here. I cannot imagine with running lights in a cage that small that you are having problems with temps. Can you please post a pic of your set up and your chameleon. What kind of chameleon do you have by the way?

Why did you think that temperature was the reason he wasn't eating before? There's a tonne of possible reasons that he might not be eating and it's possible this is just the same issue as before that hasn't been corrected yet.

Your Chameleon - About 3 month old baby ambanja chameleon, male.
Handling - Very little. he doesnt like it so much. I took him out in the sun once.
Feeding - Small crickets mostly, yesterday i got him to eat his first superworm. He only eats about 5 crickets per day. crickets being fed flukers orange cubes.
Supplements - Rep-Cal calcium powder every day on the crickets. no d3
Watering - Mist twice a day as much as it takes to soak the viv, nno specific time.
Fecal Description - Brown with a little urate. every day. never been to vet or tested for anything, never seen him drink but he doesnt seem to be dehydrated
History - In the beginning the temperature was too low so he wasn't eating, fixed that, ate more, now we're back to square 1.

Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? Exo-terra 13w uvb bulb, 75w basking reptispot lamp,
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? Around the lamps, it gets up to 83ish, at the bottom,down to 70ish. ambient about 76. At night drops to 66
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? 60%-90%, based on how long ago i misted. i use a pump mister, mist'r lizard.
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? r, on top of a nightstand. maybe 5 feet from the ground. no vents or anything. relatively no traffic

Are you sure your temp gauge is not faulty? Using a 75 watt basking and your temps is that low? What is the temp in your house to begin with? I sent you my phone number. Give me a call if you like. I would post a pic of the cage. It seems impossible that a cage of that size with a 75 watt would be producing temps that low unless your house is like 50 degrees or something. Sorry, I was sick last night and did not get on the computer or I would have given you my number sooner. I don't think covering the whole cage up and not having any ventilation is a good idea.
