is it ok for my chameleon to always want to be on the top screen of the cage?

My little guy always seems to be going on to the top screen of his cage? is this ok, im worried about him burning himself. thanks

Hi! Welcome to the forums...

Yeah...some are just into walking on the ceiling.

Just make sure the bulb is far enough away that he can't burn himself on it.

You can add walking paths for him to encourage him to stay off the ceiling and I encourage you to do so.

It doesn't mean he won't still walk on the ceiling....

could you tell me a bit more about walking paths? How would you go about making one. Iv raised vailds befor but never panthers and thats what I have now. Iv never had this problem. He seems to have a bit diffrent attitude and and is a bit more hard to take care of but im sure he will be worth it! he just wants to be on the ceiling, werido! thanks again
