Is it normal for my veiled chameleon to be smaller than usual?

Hi guys! This is Paprika, she's a girl. She's about 5 months old, and she hasn't really grown that much since I've had her. I adopted her from the vets in early February, and she only grew a small bit. I remember the vet telling me she was very small at the time. She had had her since December and she didn't grow at all within those two months, and told me nothing is wrong with her, she's just small. They did x-rays on her and everything and they said she's ok just tiny. I was just curious, because my other veiled was around 12 inches by 5 months old!

She looks strong and in great health. From my experience, veileds can be a little odd when it comes to growth. She may just be a little behind, or just under the average on the growth curve. Nothing wrong with her, just fun sized

Welcome to the forums! Such a sweet looking little girl. I would recommend a fecal to make sure that she doesn't have parasites. Parasites can stunt their growth, especially cociddia.
