Is it a prolapse? What should I do?

Last night I noticed my cham had something purple coming out his butt, was also covered in dirt. I placed him in a sink with warm water for about 15min and some of the dirt rinsed out. Checked him this morning but still looks swollen and a little purple is showing, does he have a prolapse? I did the warm water with sugar soak, he stayed for about 20min before he got restless, then tried to swab his butt with lube and q-tips as was suggested in another forum: most was poop, but I also noticed some blood. Any suggestions? And if looks like a vet visit, anyone know where I can go in the Bay Area? im not too far from San Francisco

Update: I was able to get in touch with a local vet who was reccomended in one of the threads posted above and can see him tomorrow for urgent care. When I came back from work, there was nothing coming out his butt anymore but it was quite swollen..here's to hoping tomorrow morning will be back to normal.

Hey , did you take him to vet. How is he doing? Any updates? Hope you both are well. ♡
Thanks for your interest, sorry I forgot to post an update. Took him to the vet that night of Sept.11 and turned out he had a prolapsed colon and needed a small surgery the next day. He's been on meds and antobiotics since then and has a check up in a couple days. He's about 2/3rds on his way to full recovery.

Thanks to everyone's suggestions on the replies, I was able to find a vet in my area that had exotic specialists and they are open 24/7 for emergencieis. If anyone ever has an emergency and you're in the Bay Area, Berkely Cat and Dog Hospital is where I went and their attention and care is amazing! Highly recommend!
