is a zilla 50w day bulb good for a basking bulb

well i got a jackson and a 50 watt zilla day white bulb and was curious if it was ok i want her to be able to digest her food properly
 
You'll need to measure the basking temp to make sure it's suitable ( ~ 82F-84F). For future reference, a regular household bulb works just fine for a basking lamp.
 
Mine didn't seem to like the household bulbs. As soon as I switched them to the more expensive basking bulbs their colors really started coming out.
 
Save your $$ for all the feeders you will be buying and use a regular household bulb.
Heat is heat, and your cham is not going to know the difference.
It is a good idea to get a reflective dome type fixture though.
