Is 80 Ok?

Is 80 or low 80's ok for veiled chameleon basking spot? I'm wondering if I should switch to 75w... he's on either 50 or 60w right now, the box says a different thing than the bulb

Correct. Male veiled, 1 year old, in my care for one month.

I keep mine at 90f. I would say 80 is too low.

A basking spot of 90 would be better then. The rest of the cage should vary in temp with the coolest part being around 70 or so.
