Ion Bracelets & Other Products - Feedback?

I've been doing some research on Ion bracelets after meeting so many customers that have had positive experiences with them. I know there are LOTS of different kinds, and lots that aren't so good. Some use Tourmaline, some use Magnets, some use Volcanic Ash.......Which ones are the best? Or is a combination of two or more the best??

I met a guy 2 years ago who had a Nano Wand:

And he held it up to my hand, about 6 inches away, and I could FEEL the vibrational energy coming from it from that distance. It was really something incredible. I never thought much of it until meeting so many people who have personal accounts of arthritis, migraines, muscle pain, fatigue, confusion, dizziness, all going away after wearing these Ion Bracelets.

Was wondering if anyone had much to say on them? I know this is a diverse community and am hoping for some feedback, skepticism, educated opinions, and experiences on the matter.

The more I research, the more interesting it becomes.

I can't speak for people's personal experiences, but to me all products like these are junk science. I am a true skeptic, but then I study nanoscience and produce nanomaterials for a living and have experience with quantum mechanical experimentation. I actually cannot understand the "nano" wand website. It has phrases that don't even make sense. I would liken it to someone describing your car travelling at "freezer" miles per hour.

Ion attraction and repulsion occurs at minute distances unless the associated electric fields are quite large (like, active-system large) and the fields drop off exponentially with distance. At any rate, a small amount of crystal exerts a field MUCH smaller than the distances between a pen filled with crystals and yourself, so any effect would be negated by the ions already inside your body being a million times closer to each other than to the crystal. Any effect these crystals would have on your body (which I don't think is likely even if you were to introduce them into your body) is also negated by the fact that they're essentially stored in a faraday cage made of 316 stainless steel through which no field can reach (the same stuff you can buy at home depot and that some appliances are coated with).

As well, crystals cannot store energy for long, and are naturally charge-balanced unless we un-balance them using ion implantation (a costly process). Essentially they radiate any energy (stored as phonons or plasmons) they contain as heat or use it to generate excitons that quickly dissipate on the scale of picoseconds to microseconds. LED lights function on this principle.

Zero point energy is a fancy phrase that refers to the ground electronic state of a material, which also implies that any associated fields will be the smallest they could possibly be, thereby minimizing their effect (presuming stronger fields produce stronger effects, which they do).

Magnetically speaking, any passive magnets (even neodymium magnets or 'rare earth' metals) do not really have enough field strength to reorient magnetic domains within your body's atoms, and have no effect on the calcium or sodium ions that are used in your cells ion pathways. Thats why an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) system has to be so powerful.

My best estimate would be that this is a steel tube filled with rocksalt and marked up by about 500 percent.

-Sorry if this sounds somewhat rude, it's not meant to be I promise. Companies putting "nano" in the product name to catch the eye of the consumer really gets me going.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!

The Zero Point Nano Energy Wand is a energy generating device that can rejuvenate the molecular structure when stirred in liquids, making them more vital, hydrating and better tasting, creating the same resonance as found in natural healing springs. In addition, the Nano Energy Wand, when placed in the refrigerator promotes fresher and tastier foods.
Hahaha :D:D:D:D:D:D

i actually bought my dad one today from the flea market everyone i know wears one type or another and love them my bf who is 6'5 240 couldnt pull the guy off balance once it was on, hes worn his everysence for like 6 months or so swears by it seys it makes him feel great true test is pops who had a little of everyting wrong from gout to athritis i say if you feel beter from a bracelet who cares why? when are they going to make pet size waldo wants some magic bracelet too, im sure my 8 yr old big dog would.

Well it does get cold enought here for me to drive freezer miles per hour:rolleyes:

But other than that I agree 100 percent with you.

Wow is placebo that strong? I know placebo is a real, quantifiable thing. But 100% of people I have met with them (around 40 or more) have all said something positive about them.

Hmmmm maybe I should market my panther chameleons as 'Kryptonite infused zero point energy incubated panthers. Raised on supercharged ion dusted crickets. Having one in your house will make you hung like a panther.'

@Chadbot: What would the energy have been that I felt from the Nano Wand?
It's not battery operated or had been 'charged' recently or anything. He held it a good 5-6 inches from the palm of my hand, and I could feel it radiating and vibrating in the palm of my hand within just a few seconds. The wand was not vibrating, it had no 'on off' switch, it was simply just radiating some vibrational energy.

Here's another one, though I think they are all the same.
