Hey everyone,
I am new here and wanted to say Hi and to explain my experience and what I'm doing here. First off I have no experiences when it comes to chameleons. I joined this forum because I am going to get a chameleon but want to do all my research first and get as much advice as I can. Second (a little bit about me), I'm from Indiana I am in the Air National Guard and I also work in packaging sales.
I've went through a couple forums and the main "requirements" I keep seeing are money and time. I have no issues with that; I plan on providing for my chameleon when that time comes. And even tho I have no experience, I feel like I will be just fine.
Currently I am looking at veiled chameleons and panther chameleons. I want one who is full of changing color, no horns, and I know those two get fairly large but correct me if they don't. I'd like a medium sized one but I'm ok with the large. I also would like to handle it and I'm getting mixed signals on if I can do that or not.
I have many many questions but I will start my research and listen to your opinions and advice.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
