Just started posting here, been browsing the forums since I got my veiled in Nov. and just started posting today because of a vet visit that was needed. But wanted to say hi to everyone as well and give a little back ground.

Live in Central Valley of California and this is my first Cham and he est. 3 mos old but not first exotic, I do own a Chinchilla at atleast 5 yr old. as well and that thing is pretty demanding as well. Along with them I have 2 tuxedo cats one at 15yrs and one at 3yrs old.

So like I said just saying hey and I am finding these forums much more useful than anything else I can find on the net so far. And if anyone else is located near me let me know!

Hello and welcome on board! What is going on with your chameleon that you needed a vet? Did you get the issue resolved??

Welcome! Glad that you found us and decided to chime in. Hope all is well with the lil gal. What is/was the problem?

Hello and welcome!! :D
I'm also new to this forum. I used to live in Woodlen Hills, California but I now live in Miami, FL but I am moving back to Los Angeles in a couple months. This forum is definitely very helpful and almost all your questions are answered. I am getting my first chameleon next week (Senegal Chameleon). A lot of people on this forum do not own one so it's going to be tough taking care of it but I am pretty sure I got everything I need and know everything to keep my chameleon healthy. I will post pictures and keep things up to date once I get my chameleon. I am very excited!

Carol and Max, he was dehydrated and wouldn't open his eyes (we didn't know he was dehydrated at the time). So we took him to the vet and they said it was dehydration and gave us some ointment to help out his eyes.

MCSEB LA is a long drive from me lol. about 8 hours away if my wife is driving less if I'm drivind :D We usually go down there during Christmas to see her family -.- Good luck with your Senegal

Oh wow! Yeah I get you. I fly to Los Angeles for summer, thanksgiving break and christmas break too. I'm actually planning on moving back in a few months. I changed my mind. Instead of getting myself a Senegal cham, I am getting myself a baby veiled male. I'm looking forward to getting him! :D
