Introducing MR. T

Well for not having any chameleons in my life, I sure did jump in with both feet. A co-worker got a job out of state and needed to find a new home for his buddy. He heard I had a Jacksons and asked if I would adopt his friend. I was hesitant at first but after meeting Mr. T and seeing his easy going nature, I couldn’t say no. So Mr. T moved into the house hold. So here he is Mr. T.

Thank you Kathy, I am glad to have him but somewhat concerned. The previous owner had some husbandry that I was not sure of. First he just dumped a lot of crickets into the VV and let Mr. T free range, so he had no idea how much Mr. T was eating. When I say a lot I mean 100 or so. Secondly he never saw Mr. T drink, well the first day I was misting with a spray bottle Mr. T came over and would drink off the spray for a good 10 minutes, so I take it he was pretty thirsty. Lastly he only had one branch for a run with one vine and a few fake leaves. Not good for movement. I since have set up 3 more branches and have put up a lot more folage. We will see how he takes to the new environment.

Below is how I have it set up. If anyone sees anything that might need changing, please let me know.

thx Diego

Hey Diego,
I would add a live plant. Would be good for hiding and good for humidity. My female loves sleeping in the live plant, we have an umbrella bush/plant.

He is very handsome! I would add something so he can walk down to the bottom. It looks like he likes being down there! Some like to walk on the bottom from time to time. He can always use the screen, but you could make it easier for him by adding another branch or a bird ladder.
