Just wanted to introduce myself. We just bought two chameleons. I once owned an iguana before I was married but was afraid to try a chameleon because I wasn't sure I would have enough time to care for it properly. So needless to say I am having a ball! I was glad to find this forum :)

Hi, welcome, we all look forward to seeing your little ones..... have a good time...

Drinks?... Did someone say DRINKS !?!?

Welcome to the forum,
I'll have my first round served via a drip system...
The misting isn't working out so well -I'm so dehydrated.
:p

Hello, I am a fairly new joiner also! I see that you are located in MI, I am also! What part of Michigan do you reside in? I am envious that you have horses, it is my dream on day to have a farm with horses (and a Llama :D). If you have a camera you should post pics of all your animals I would love to see your chams and the others. You will love it on here, it is addicting though!!

nice to "meet" you:)

Great to meet you! I am in White Cloud, just north of Grand Rapids. I will take pics and post them. I love showing them off! Where are you?

I am in Kentwood. I know right where White Cloud is, I drive through it all the time. A couple years back my sister was in a bad accident at the light on m-37 (I think that is the only light in White Cloud right?) I love White Cloud, nothing better than living in a small town. (Even though it really isn't all that small is it?? ) But I can't wait to see the pics!

Yup, at the corner of 28th and Division is a vet called The Animal Clinic. There is a great reptile vet named Dr. Benett. He actually is the vet for John Ball Zoo I believe. We also have a vet by Woodland mall Called Woodland vetrinary clinic I believe. Dr. Durham is the "reptile" vet there. We use to bring reptiles there when I was part of the "reptile club" in high scool. He is a very nice guy, but I didn't really feel like he really knew all that much about reptiles. He was actually afraid of a corn snake, he made me hold its head while he examined it. But if for some reason you ever need a vet, and don't have one close to you I would rec. Dr. Benett. There is another vet there, her name is Dr. Distleberg. She doesn't have as much experiance with reptiles as Benett, but when he was on vacation I saw her once and she was very nice and helpful. It was just for a checkup on my chams eye, so nothing extreme, but I felt confidant that she knew what she was doing! And it is a small world, but sometimes I wish it were smaller so that I could make it to the larger reptile expos. I am going to Tinley Park next weekend, but as far as I know there will only be a couple chameleon breeders there. Have you thought about going to Tinley?

Where is Tinley Park? Is that the expo on the 14th?

Nope, I didn't know about that one. I will have to plan on next year. I am planning on going to the one in GR on the 14th.
