Hey guys im prrtty mad rite now but how bad is it if my cham was interrupted the first day of her finally digging. Has this happened to anyone?? Did your female go on to lay eggs or would she die?

and I mean interrupted by somebody

Was she laying or just digging?

If she was just digging you should be fine, I would cover her cage with a towel so she can't see anyone and give her complete privacy. If she was laying, that can be a little worse but I would do the same thing.

I guess my grandma touched her tail so that means she had head first. But we finally took off the cover an she started digging do u think we should go bk to it she seemed to hate it lol we had it covered for 3 week lol

Another question will she come out of the tunnel at night like half way or should she be non stop digging and stuff cz right now its her bed time in tx lol I turned the light off is that ok too?

You said "do u think we should go bk to it when seemed to hate it"...go back to what??

What species is it?
Generally if only disturbed once it will go back to digging again and lay its eggs as long as it isn't disturbed again and you don't watch it while it's digging. She could dig he same hole or dig another but should settle on one and dig to completion, turn butt down, lay the eggs and fill the hole in, tamp it down and return to the branches hungry and thirsty.

Some will sleep in the hole and continue digging the next day and others will just keep digging. Some people leave the lights on and some turn them off...doesn't seem to matter.

Patience!!
Good luck!

Surprisingly my cham laid her eggs last night after all this happened shes super comfortable with ppl just my grandma touched her thanks guys

Super comfortable with people or not...If she can see you watching her dig her holes she can abandon it and if it happens too often she can become eggbound.

Glad she laid them! How many did she lay?
