Installing mist king

Im installing the mister head into my cage and I was confused. It says use a 5/8" drill bit, does this mean a spade bit? Because thats all i can find in 5/8"

Yes, the spade bit is what you'll use to drill into the reservoir bucket. Probably the same if you have to drill into the cage for the misting head but most cages should and do have screen tops so you don't need to drill the cage at all. What exactly are you trying to drill?

I was just reading the instructions and it said I need the spade bit for the resevoir. (I already set that up) Now i'm trying to figure out the best way to install the misting head without the screen wedge top. Looks like there is about to be a hole in the top of my cage lol.

Just mount the nozzle outside the top of the cage . A portion of the water will accumulate on the screen and if positioned properly droplets fall onto plant leaves encouraging drinking.
