Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled Chameleon, about 3 months, i have owned it for a week today, i ordered a Male, but im thinking they gave me a female because no spurs on the back feet
Handling - i have attempted to hold it once a day, succeeded one time
Feeding - Crickets, Superworms, and Meal Worms, feeding crickets Flukers and lettuce
Supplements -Reptocal with D3, once a week
Watering - I use a dripper, and its always going, and when i do mist, its for about a min. i occasionally see it drinking
Fecal Description -I dont know if this is normal, but it comes in almost links, white with little yellow first then brown. never been tested
History - Bought from theveiledchameleon.com, never had any problems until now, just a little worried now is all.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - My cage is a Screen, im not sure the demensions because my uncle gave to me after getting a bigger cage.
Lighting - Reptisun 5.0 uvb light, and a ceramic heater, 45 watts. 12 hours on with uvb and always on with heater
Temperature - from about 75 to 85. not Exactly sure how low it gets because it sleeps in different places. with a thermometer.
Humidity - Not sure what my humidity level is, but i have a pump that bubbles in the water constantly and i mist everything 3 to 4 times a day.
Plants - No live plants, but wish to get some soon.
Placement - cage is located on my desk in my room. It is near no vents or anything, just overlooks my room and occasionally people walk in and out of my room. Bottom of the cage is about 3 feet off the floor
Location - Northern California

Current Problem - About an hour or two ago my cham's left eye was kind of tweaking out, was keeping it closed for a long time then it would poof out pretty big (which didn't look too promising) but after that it has just been blinking a little more than usual. (on a side note, my cham just went #2 and i haven't noticed this problem since then. Maybe it had to do with that??)

My suggestions in green

Handling - i have attempted to hold it once a day, succeeded one time Until your cham has settled in, reduce this to once a week.
Feeding - Crickets, Superworms, and Meal Worms, feeding crickets Flukers and lettuce You need to gutload better, use more greens, oranges, potatoes, carrots
Supplements -Reptocal with D3, once a week this is too much, d3 2x a month, a multivitamin 2x a month,k and plain calcium no d3 no phosphorus every feeding.
Watering - I use a dripper, and its always going, and when i do mist, its for about a min. i occasionally see it drinking
Fecal Description -I dont know if this is normal, but it comes in almost links, white with little yellow first then brown. never been tested This is normal, the white is the urate, or pee, when it is white your cham is hydrated, when yellow or orange, it needs more water
History - Bought from theveiledchameleon.com, never had any problems until now, just a little worried now is all.

It is possible your cham has something in the its eye. please post a pic. if you have any, get some plain saline solution and try to put a drop in the affected eye. if you cant, give it a warm shower. take a plant or large stick, put it in the shower,m take your shower head and aim it towards the wall, let the lukewarm water boucne off the wall to create a mist, place your stick and your cham in this mist for about 20 minutes.

Feeding - Crickets, Superworms, and Meal Worms, feeding crickets Flukers and lettuce I woudln't feed mealworms, just stick with supers. You should also get some silkies and hornworms to go along with her feeders. I would get some more gutload items like collard greens, dandalion leaves, carrots etc.
Supplements -Reptocal with D3, once a week You need three dusting items. One normal Calcium without d3 that you will use on almost every feeding, One Calcium with d3 that you will use twice a month, and one Multivitamins that you will also use twice a month. I usually switch the d3 and the multivitamins every sunday so I can get them twice a month.
Watering - I use a dripper, and its always going, and when i do mist, its for about a min. i occasionally see it drinking I wouldn't have the dripper going on all the time. The cage needs to be able to dry out or you'reg oing to run into a problem such as URI. Mist 3x's a day for atleast 3-5 minutes each time.

You say she puffs out occasionaly? Could be she's trying to gasp for air. Do you ever hear popping or hiccup noises coming from her? Can you post a pic of your chameleon's eye and whole body?

Answer in red.

I think he meant the the eye puffs out, not her in general.

Oh I see well if that's the case and she's doing this on a regular basis then it could mean she has something stuck in her eye or maybe could have an eye infection. A pic would definitely help.

ill get a pic right now, or try to at least haha. and ill give her a shower today, that is if i can get her to let me hold her :D

and okay! thanks for the supplements and stuff. ill look for those. but my local pet store doesn't have them, where should i order from?

Camimom, they sell actual ceramic heat emitters for reptiles. They are good to use at night for heat cause they have no light, but just heat.

do you guys think it could be something to do with her having to take a potty break? cuz once she did her business i haven't seen her eye or anything freak out anymore

okay good! :) one can only hope! but one more question, is this normal, sometimes she is just standing on a plant or something and she does this with both eyes sometimes, but she scratches her eye on what ever she is standing on

Normally a chameleon does this either when they are shedding or something is stuck in their eye.
