infected (?) mouth problems! ah

my roommate said its mouthrot. if it is, what do I do?

I think I am going to bring him to the vet tomorrow..

Definately a job for a vet... otherwise that chameleon will likely die.

your vet will clean the infected wound and administered antibiotics.
some culture might be taken.

the faster you get him to the vet the better.
hope your cham will recover soon.

Looks like temporal gland infection. Chameleons have a pin hole in the corner of the mouth that can get infected . A vet needs to clean it out and put the chameleon on antibiotics and sometimes surgery is required.

There is nothing you can do now except minimize stress on the animal. Just leave it in peace until you can take it to the vet.
