My cham just laid her eggs in a bucket full of dirt. i was wondering would it be better to put the eggs in a plate with vermiculite or jsut leave them buried in the bin?
If there is a possibility that they are fertile, then they should be incubated. You can put them in a shoebox sized tupperware container that is half filled with slightly moist vermiculite (you should only be able to squeeze a drop or two of water out of it when you take a fist full of it), put the lid on the container and place it somewhere that the temperature range will be about 74F.
Even if they are infertile, I would dig them up...otherwise you won't know how many were laid...or if any were.
