So, just FYI, the definition for "zygodactyl" is not "having fused toes in groups pointing opposite directions" as defined in the Chameleon Care Resources: Glossary, but is simply having two toes pointing forward (Digits 2 and 3) and two pointing backward (Digits 1 and 4). The toes do not have to be fused to be considered zygodactyl, and it does have to be those specific toes, in that specific order. For example, parrots and woodpeckers both have zygodactyl feet, but their toes are not fused.
Interestingly, if Digits 3 and 4 point forwards and Digits 1 and 2 point backwards, it is called heterodactyly and not zygodactyly. This arrangement is only found in a certain species of bird (trogons, I think?).
