HELP! My veiled chameleon is still not eating. She is anxious and trying to escape constantly. I have a laying bin filled with moist sand in her enclosure but she is complletely uninterested and not crawling to the bottom of the terrarium. It has been over a week and I'm still seeing the same behavior. If anyone has any advice it would be much appriciated. I'm extremely worried about my little girl.

Here are a few. If you need more please let me know!

lay bin looks kinda small. she may be having a problem finding it. im using a 21 qt sterilite tub for my girls lay box.

In the pictures she doesn't look all that fat. I would take her out of the cage for a couple hours and just watch how she acts. The cage looks good. That should not be bothering her. Just let her climb all over the room and see if she acts different. I am not convinced she is that close to laying

It's 12 inches...and according to chamelotchameleons, that is enough room. Also, she said she aware of the bin and its whereabouts. Just not interested in it.

This was her today in her outdoor enclosure.

Maybe she's restless because she's looking for the right man...I believe it's fairly typical for them to prowl a bit when "in the mood". You'll probably be looking at eggs in the future if that's the case.

Us women are known to do that from time to time! Maybe this is unfortunately something I can't help her with :( still doesn't explain the no eating issue though?
