Used to be a place only about 20 miles from where I live. I'd just drive up there and the Indonesian guy would literally scoop out 1000 crickets for me. Got to know him. Gave me a tour of the entire facility. Really interesting. Nice guy too. Could barely speak English but very nice.
Then one day I went up and they were all gone.
Turns out all the help were illegal aliens and they kicked everybody out and shut the place down : ( Bummer.

Over the years they have always shipped when promised and their shipping fees are reasonable.
Never heard of $80 shipping from them but you may have been ordering a very large quantity and FedEx may have upped their Priority Overnight charges.

Ghanns is much cheaper than Armstrong as well. I have used Ghanns for a couple of years now and buy at least 20K a month of varying sizes and they have always come through for us.
