Is this something one can "expect" from a male chameleon? Or do I not have to worry about being "shocked" or having my husband come running at me telling me that Marimo is "bleeding from his butt" or something... (That is so something he would do. He's more panicky than I am. When he panics, I panic usually.)

Haha, I didn't panic but glad I had my camera in my pocket and got the shot. The fact that I saw it come out, open up into like 3 sections then go back in made me feel better about what I had just seen.

I have a read a few threads on here in the past that talked about males flashing their owners, I just never saw pics I guess. So I guess yes, you may expect this from your males.

My Rinty has never been so rude , so it doesn't have to be expected.....just don't be too surprised. If it stays out then keep it moist (ky jelly, vaseline, sugary water if needs be) - and get to a vet for putting it back in and possible stitches.
